Founded in 2024 by David & Wendy Harper and a further education specialist.
Wyre Horseways is a not-for-profit community interest company offering enriching equine and other animal experiences for children and adults, including those with special educational needs. Nestled in nearly 9 acres of peaceful countryside, our site features wildflower meadows, an orchard and wildlife pond, and stunning views of the Wyre Forest and Clee Hills.
Specialised equine learning and education
We can offer post 16 education to young people with an education health care plan (EHCP) where main stream further education cannot meet need, this is funded directly via the county council, consultations are required and an application/interview process is necessary.
Arena hire and clinics
We offer arena hire for riders, coaches, and clubs, providing an excellent facility for training and events. Additionally, we host equestrian clinics led by experienced practitioners, covering various disciplines.
Community group visits
Wyre Horseways welcomes group visits for all ages, offering hands-on activities and opportunities to meet our wonderful horses. It's an ideal outing for schools, youth groups, or community organisations looking for an engaging rural experience.
Community events and gardening
We hold an annual Open Day, and various regular private and public events
Join our social gardening group to connect with nature and others, or participate in our vibrant community events. We constantly seek new ideas and collaborations to enrich our local community through shared experiences.
